Gun hunting will not be allowed in the majority of Rib Mountain State Park next year under revised plans that were announced today.
The Natural Resources Board is scheduled to vote Tuesday in Madison on a management plan for hunting, fishing, and trapping in Wisconsin state parks. The Sporting Heritage Bill was signed into law last spring and expands hunting and trapping in state parks as of Jan. 1.
