The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department reports that a driver hit a cow wandering in the Town of Pine River. It happened just after 7:00 p.m. on County Road W near Alpine Road.
According to a report, the 32-year-old Merrill driver struck the cow causing it to tip over onto the hood of the vehicle.
