Guilty verdict in tavern robbery case

The man accused of masterminding two tavern robberies that resulted in the theft of more than $4,000 has been found guilty after a four day trial. A 12-person jury reached a verdict late Thursday in Marathon County Circuit Court in the case against Branden Richter, 27, of Wausau, after deliberating for less than three hours. Richter was found guilty of two counts of armed robbery and faces a maximum 80 years in prison. Full Story: Wausau Daily Herald
